We supply raw wood for export in Europe and the Baltic Sea region. We are a reliable supplier that operates responsibly and cost-effectively. We are committed to sustainable forestry and comply with laws and regulations.
We have the entire logistics chain from the purchase of wood to shipping. Aava Shipping is part of our corporate family, so loading and forwarding services are also in our own hands.
Our advantages include a short sea voyage to Sweden, our location within reach of highways and railways, the qualitative factors of wood raw material, and the management of the entire logistics chain. In the port we have our own large fields where we can store and buffer large amounts of wood. The leveling box allows the maximum filling of the ship. It is possible to use the scale services around the clock. We supply pulpwood, saw logs, energy wood and wood chips. We supply pine, spruce and birch separately if desired, can also be supplied in coniferous form. We cherish long-term partnerships, but we are also an agile operator in spot trading.

Our operations are guided by PEFC and FSC® certifications, which tell our customer about responsible wood sourcing and commitment to sustainability. Certifications ensure traceability of the origin of wood and compliance with internationally agreed criteria.
Wood procurement
We buy wood from private landowners, companies and municipalities. Our procurement area extends from Western Finland all the way to Pirkanmaa, Kanta-Häme and South Ostrobothnia.
